D. Jefferson purchased Lot #90 for $10 from Chester Terry on Jan. 9, 1864; Susannah is not listed in any of the IOOF records that we have available, but is now listed because a known burial site has not been found. She is said to have died of putrid sore throat--now known as diptheria. 
Delos and Matilda Jefferson were living in Washington Co. in 1850. Delos Jefferson and his wife filed on a Donation Land Claim in Oregon City. His DLC #4972 is located in Marion Co. in T9S, R3W, Sec.1 and contains 607.41 acres. They settled on the Claim 16 Aug. 1852. Delos was b. in Cattaraugus Co., New York and md. Matilda on the 14 Nov 1850 in Portland, Oregon. Affiants are: Simon Smith, Wm. Delany and Isaac Cook. The family is living in North Salem in 1860 and no female is listed that fits the age of Susannah as given in the geneaology.
