1910 WA CENSUS - Ernest Beste, age 37, married 10 years (wife not enumerated with him), occupatiotion wagon expressman, b. Cuba, year of immigration 1903.
DISCREPANCY - Name is given as Beste in DC and census record, but as Befte in Obit.
DISCREPANCY - Age on DC is given as 31, age given in 1910 Census the year before his death is given as 37.

DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OBITUARY: 
In Salem, Oregon at 7 p. m., Wednesday, March 8, 1911, of tuberculosis, Earnest Befte, aged 31 years. He leaves a wife but no children, and had been a porter at the Gilson barber shop. The remains are at the Cottage undertaking parlors. Funeral notice later.
