OBITUARY: 
MRS. BROWNING IS CALLED BY DEATH. 
Mrs. Mary [sic] Browning, resident of Salem for the past 37 years, died Friday morning at the home following an illness of several months’ duration. She was the widow of John Browning who died here 11 years ago. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o’clock Monday afternoon at the Rigdon mortuary chapel, with Rev. H. C. Stoner officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The following children survive; Mrs. Rost McIntyre of Philomath; Mrs. Clara Savage of Scio; Mrs. Lena Kikes, Charles T., Mrs. Elizabeth Charpilloz, and A. J. Browning, all of Portland; and Mrs. Hattie B. Tuel, Benjamin B. and Albert of Salem. Sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

J. Browning of Portland; Mrs. Hattie B. Tuel of Salem; Charles T. of Portland; Mrs. Elizabeth Charpillos of Portland; Benjamin of Salem; Albert of Salem; four brothers and sisters, Albert Hartley ofr Nebraska, Emil Hartley of Greeley, Colo.; Sophia Hartley of Princeton, Ill.; and Mrs. Emma Stadler of chicago; byu a sister-in-law, Mrs. Fred Browning of Salem; and by 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 o'clock at the Rigdon mortuary with Rev. H. C. Stover officiating. Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
