Circle.  His epitaph is: Lieut. A.P. Carr Co. I, 48th Ind. Inf. Died Aug. 6, 1891 [Lot #757 was purchased by Sedgewick Post #10 of the GAR. It was deeded back to the IOOF Lodge in 1895 and sold to J. P. Farmer] OBITUARY:  CARR-- At the state asylum for insane, Thursday, August 6. 1891, Alonzo P. Carr, aged about 55 years. Deceased was an old soldier and was committed to the asylum last fall, coming from the vicinity of Turner, this county. He enlisted December 17, 1861, as private in Co. I, 48th Indiana infantry, and re-enlisted and was first sergeant and May 1, 1865, was commissioned second lieutenant. He was discharged July 15, 1865. The remains will be buried by Sedgwick post G.
