OBITUARY: 
Sergeant Delmer W. Dorrence, late resident of 425 North Cottage street, at the age of 23 years. Member of 15th infantry at Fort Lewis and had served in the Hawaiian Islands. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. N. E. Dorrence of San Francisco; sisters, Eleanor Dorance and Mrs. Arlie Downs, both of Salem. Military services Thursday at 2 p. m. at Rose Lawn chapel. Concluding services at IOOF cemetery.
