OBITUARY: ROSALIE M. POWERS -- Oct. 20, 1914 - Feb. 25, 1990. Rosalie M. Powers, 75, of Salem, died Sunday. She was born in Marshfield and came to Salem when she was very young. She was a homemaker and a cook and waitress at several local restaurants. She married Cliare R. Powers on June 14, 1965, in Reno, Nevada. She was an avid bingo player. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Betty Carrick of Salem and Darlene Diller of Albany; sons Bruce Wallace of Tyler, Texas, and Dennis and Kenneth Wallace, both of Boise, Idaho; and brother John Belton of Bellevue, Washington. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.Tuesday and Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in Rigdon-Ransom mortuary. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Statesman Journal 26 Feb 1990.
