The deceased came here from Hamilton, Ontario, four years ago and since then has been confined to the house the greater part of that time with spinal disease. He leaves a wife and three sons -- John of Victoria, British Columbia, James, of Menlo Park, California, and William, of Albany, Oregon. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at the house and the interment will be conducted at the Rural cemetery by the I. O. O. F. and the A. O. U. W.  Oregon Statesman, 8 May 1892, 4:5.
