MARRIAGE - "Frank Finley, over 21 & Lulu Brown, over 18, m 14 Jul 1896 at house of & by H.A. Johnson, J. P.  Aff: Wm. Adolph.  Wit: S.E. McAlister & Hattie Allen."
1900 OR CENSUS - Lulu Finley, age 28, mother of 2, b. Aug 1871 in Iowa, is enumerated with her husband of 5 years, Sill, age 38, occupation farm hand, b. May 1862 in Minnesota, along with Ethel, age 3, b. Nov 1896 in Oregon, and Rita, age 1, b. Feb 1899 in Oregon.
DISCREPANCY - DC says she is age 28 at the time of her death in 1903, 1900 census gives her age as 28, and birth year as 1871 in 1900. Obit gives her age at the time of her death as 35.
OBITUARY: 
FINLEY - At the family home, three miles west of Salem, Oregon, in Polk county, Thursday, October 1, 1903, at 2 p.m., Miss Lulu Finley, aged 35 years, of consumption. Deceased leaves a husband and two children to mourn her death. The funeral will be held from the family residence at 1- a.m. tomorrow, Rev. John Parsons of the First M. E. church, conducting the ceremonies, and interment will be had in the Odd Fellows' cemetery, south of this city.
