A GHASTLY FIND -- Adam Fromader, who has been grubbing on the farm of Warren Johns, two miles southwest of Salem, made a discovery yesterday that made his teeth chatter.  He was grubbing out hazel brush and his ax struck an Indian tomahawk.  This he unearthed, and continuing the work of tearing out the brush he soon came upon some bones.  The first ones found were those of the head of an Indian chief.  The neck was encircled by a string of shining beads consisting of hundreds of these various colored globules.  After finding the head Mr. Frohmader continued his search and was rewarded by finding the skeleton entire and in a good state of preservation.  The head was intact, the teeth being sound and beautiful -- in fact teeth that would be the pride to anyone.  This find was covered with about two feet of earth and was so located as to give no indication of have been buried there.  How many years it has been resting there no one knows, although many years must have passed since the interment took place, as the wooden handle of the stone implement of warfare had decayed almost entirely.
