OBITUARY: 

Mrs Nora Belle Haines, 78, 1635 16th St NE, died Sunday in a Portland hospital from injuries received in a fall at her home here a week ago. Born in Little Rock, Ark, she came to Salem from Colorado in 1935. Survivors include sons Forrest and Hubert Haines, both in Pueblo, Colo, Lester Haines, Harvard, Ill, and Chester Haines, Salem; daughters Mrs Vera McCallister and Mrs Alice Spain, both Salem; brother John Stuart, McComb, Okla; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Announcement of services is pending at Barrick mortuary.
