Fay, age 41, married at age 17, occupation pracitical nurse, b. Wisconsin.  Also enumerated with the family is a lodger, Roy D. Damon, age 45, occupation grocery store proprietor, b. Iowa.
DISCREPANCY - 72 in 1930 census record, 68 in 1938 obit.
OBITUARY: 
Frank Alonzo Hazen, October 29, at the age of 68 years. Late resident of 1028 Highland avenue.  Survived by widow, Ina, and one daughter, Mrs. Emma Sutton of Independence.  Funeral announcements later by Walker & Howell.

Frank Alonzo Hazen, October 29 at the age of 80 years.  Late resident of 1028 Highland avenue.  Survived by wife, Ida May, and daughters, Mrs. Emma Sutton of Independence, Mrs. Jessie Fay of Salem, Mrs. Josei Clason of Turner, son, Charles Hazen of Caroline, Alberta, Canada; brother Dwight Hazen of Wisconsin; 24 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held from Walker & Howell chapel Tuesday, November 1, at 2 p.m. Rev. Ernest and Rev. Comer of Seventh Day Adventist church will officiate.
