OBITUARY: 
At the family residence, 1693 South Winter street, February 3, 1914, Almira Jakes, aged 79 years. Funeral services will be held from the residence Thursday morning at 10:30. Rev. F.T. Porter will officiate and the interment will take place in City View [sic] cemetery. Deceased leaves a husband and several children.

The funeral of Mrs. Almira Jakes will be held from the residence today at 10:30 a.m. Rev. F. T. Porter, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate. The interment will take place in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Mrs. Jakes Buried. 
Funeral services were held over the remains of Almira Jakes at 10 o’clock yesterday morning from the residence. Rev. F. T. Porter, pastor of the First Christian church officiated. The church choir rendered several selections. The burial took place in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
