Judson was the first white boy born to original settlers in the city of Salem. See interview in OS 16 Jan. 1935 (Sarah A. Judson) DC gives burial place as IOOF, but actual gravesite is Sp.1, S½, Lot 2, Block 39, Sec C at City View Cemetery; Wife Sarah Alice McBee Judson buried next to him. Sarah died 30 Dec. 1933 at their daughter, Anna J. French's home in Zena. SARAH A. JUDSON FUNERAL IS HELD. ZENA, Jan. 3.- Sarah McBee, who was born near Salem, November 2, 1855 died at the home of her son Robert Judson at Broadmead, December 30. She has resided for the past two years at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna J. French at Zena although her home was in Salem. Her parents, John and Sarah McBee, who crossed the plains in 1852, both died before she was ten years old. Sarah A. McBee married Robert Thomas Judson January 1, 1874. They lived South of Salem for a short time then moved to the present home in South Salem at the end of Judson street. Children born to them were: Anna Judson French, Lewis E., George, Robert and Leonard Judson. Sarah A. Judson became a member of the Leslie Methodist church in Salem 34 years ago. Only two others, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Nye have been members longer than she was. Besides the children she leaves 24 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her pallbearers were all grandsons or husbands of granddaughters except one. Funeral services were held at the Leslie Methodist church, with interment in the City View cemetery, Wednesday, January 2. OBITUARY: 
At the family home south of Salem, Sunday, February 21, 1904, at 5:12 o'clock p. m., Robert T. Judson, aged 61 years, 10 months and 9 days, of stomach trouble. Deceased was a highly respected citizen, and was lived by all who were fortunate enough to be numbered among his acquaintances, for his kind and charitable disposition. He leaves a wife, three daughters and four sons, Mrs. J. M. Card, Miss Alice, L. E., G. A., R. F., and Leonard Judson, besides a large circle of friends, to mourn ;his death. The funeral was held from the Leslie M. E. church in South Salem, at 2 o'clock p. m. yesterday. Daily Oregon Statesman 24 Feb 1904 3:3
