OBITUARY: 

KESSEL--Ambrose Kessel died Monday March 31, 1924, at the residence, 1091 Fifth street, West Salem, at the age of 70 years. Survived by his wife, Matilda Kessel, and the following children, Mrs. Ada Hathway, Mrs. Ruth Phillips and J. W. Kessel, all of West Salem, Mrs. Nettie Wicker of Indiana, and H. S. Kessel of Missouri. Mr. Kessel had been a resident of West Salem about seven and a half years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 2, at 2 p.m. from the Webb funeral parlors. Interment I.O.O.F. cemetery. Rev. Hawthorne will officiate.
