OBITUARY: 

Noah Leabo, Monday, Dec. 7, 1908, Dec. 7, 1908, at the Martha mines, near Leland, Oregon, killed by log rolling over him. Body arrived in Salem Wednesday evening and burial will be in the I. O. O. F. cemetery, the funeral taking place today (Thursday) at 2:30, from Rigdon's undertaking parlors. Age 66 years. Leaves no family. Two sisters, one living in Salem, Mrs. Mary C. Jory, South Commercial street, and Mrs. Eunice Elizabeth Leverith, of Albany, Oregon.

Noah Leabo, a man who was engaged in cutting wood near Golden was fatally injured by the falling of a tree across his body, and died a short time afterwards. Coroner Stricker was notified and pomptly made an investigation. Leabo was about 65 years of age.
