OBITUARY: 

Mrs Lottie M. Moffitt, 91, of 2630 Church St NE, died Sunday at the residence following a long illness. A native of Lafayette, Ind, she moved to Salem in 1891. She left here for McMinnville in 1918, where she lived two years before moving to Portland. She returned to Salem five years ago. She was a member of Jason Lee Methodist Church. Surviving are daughter Mrs Blanch L. Johnson, Salem; son C.T. Moffitt, Salem; sister Mrs Ruth Craven, Santa Clara, Calif; three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 1:30 pm Wednesday in Barrick Funeral Chapel, Rev Myron M. Hall officiating. Interment will be in Salem Pioneer Cemetery.
