Ola Lucille "Polly" McIntyre, 57, who died of an apparently self-inflicted bullet wound Sunday at Newport, was a former Salem resident. 
Born at Independence, she came to Salem as a child, living here about 20 years before moving to the Coast. She had lived in Newport 14 years. Survivors include son Jack Douglas, daughter Dixie Glaser, brothers Glenn and Wendell Brown, all Salem; sisters Esther Wright and Jeannette Bunch, both Salem, and Helen Mulligan, Los Angeles, California; four grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary.
