OBITUARY: SAD ACCIDENT. Yesterday evening the 5-year old son of James Munkers, who lives about three miles up Mill creek, met with its death through falling off a chair. While the particulars are meager, it was learned that the child fell from a chair onto the floor on its head, and it is supposed bursted a blood vessel of the head. A physician was sent for, but the child died about ten minutes before the physician arrived there, about two hours after the accident. A large circle of friends condole with the bereaved parents in their affliction. Oregon Statesman 23 October 1885 3:3 The funeral of James W.
