OBITUARY: 

Mrs. Needham, Former Salem Resident, Dies. 
Mrs. Anna Simmons Needham, native of the Willamette valley who lived nearly 60 years in the Salem area, died Monday at her residence at Brookings. 
Mrs. Needham was born near Turner, the daughter of the pioneer Simmons family. She was married about 50 years ago in Salem to G. Wilbur Needham, native of Salem and brother of W. I. Needham, owner of Needham’s book store here. The couple resided in the Salem area most of their married life. They had lived at Brookings for about three years. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Clough-Barrick chapel with Dr. Seth Huntington officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF cemetery. Surviving are her widower in Brookings and four grandchildren in Portland.
