OBITUARY: 
The funeral of William H. Paine was held in the morning at 10 o'clock from the chapel of Rigdon & Richardson. 
Mrs. Merlin Harding and Miss Eva Hogue sang duets accompanied by Miss Gertrude Eakin. Rev. Carl H. Elliott officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows cemetery. 
William Paine was born in Oakland County, Michigan and was married to Olive S. Hunter on October 16, 1886. He united with the church in Hastings, Nebraska in 1892 and came to Oregon eight years ago. He has been in poor health for many years. He is survived by his wife, and daughter Mrs. C.O. Coffey who resides in Portland.
