OBITUARY: 

Bert W. Peyree, 74, 220 Alice Ave. S., died Saturday at his home of an apparent heart attack. A native of Pratum, he had lived in Mehama and Salem areas all his life. He was a logger and a farmer. Survivors include the widow Ruth and his sister Mrs. Minnie Drager, Portland. Services are pending at Barrick mortuary.

Bert W. Peyree -- Late resident of 220 Alice Ave. S., Salem, Oregon, died Saturday, September 11, at home. Survived by the widow Ruth Peyree, Salem and sister, Mrs. Minnie Drager, Portland. Many nieces and nephew also survive. Services Wednesday, Sept. 15 at Barrick Chapel, 205 Church SE. Interment Salem Pioneer Cemetery. Friends who wish may send remembrances to the Bert W. Peyree fund at Knight Memorial Church.
