OBITUARY: 

Death Claims John Peyree

John Peyree, a Pratum area farmer for many years, died late Saturday night at his home at 1497 N. 5th st. He was 67.

Born Feb. 26, 1884, in the Pratum area, Peyree later was a hop grower there and also operated a threshing unit. He moed to Salem three years ago and had been a logger recently.

Surviving are his widow, Marie; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Grager, West Linn; and two brothers, William Peyree, Indendence, and Burt Peyree, Pratum.. Services will be announced later by Clough-Barrick chapel.
