OBITUARY: 
Horseman Dies. 
John Salvage, about 30 years of age, died yesterday at Willamette Sanitarium. He was a horseman and came here during the State Fair from California. He was accompanied by a Mr. Ward, of Portland, who remained with him during his illness. The body is a Rigdon's undertaking parlors awaiting word from the sister of the deceased, who is in San Diego, Cal.
