OBITUARY: 
MRS. MARY JOHNSON, PIONEER DIED SUNDAY. Mrs. Mary Johnson, who for many years has resided at 334 Winter street died at her home Sunday afternoon, at 6:15 o'clock. Mrs. Johnson was born in Pennsylvania on June 15th, 1820. She lived for many years in that state, where she married to John [sic] Miller. Mr. Miller died in 1859. In 1861 Mrs. Johnson was married to Mr. Lewis Johnson, and the following year they came to Oregon, be way of the Isthmus, and settled in Salem. Mr. Johnson died in February, 1887. Mrs. Johnson leaves four children, John Miller, Mrs. Maria Polley, Mrs. Mary E. Cox and Samuel Miller, all residents of Salem. Daily Oregon Statesman 9 Jun 1908 6:1-2. The remains of Mrs. Mary Johnson, who died Sunday, were laid to rest in Odd Fellows' cemetery yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev.
