OBITUARY:  At her residence in Salem, on Friday morning, September 2, 1887, at 5 o'clock, Mrs. Catharine Bachman, wife of A. Bachman, aged 72 years.  Mrs. Bachman's death resulted indirectly from an accident about six weeks since in which she broke her thigh. A complication of disease set in, and she gradually sank till her death.
