OBITUARY: 

MRS. ADAIR DIES AT HOME IN ALOHA.
Was Widow of Late Irvin M. Adair.
Reached Oregon in '73.
After having resided for over 67 years in Oregon and most of the time made her home in Salem, Mrs. Elizabeth T. Adair, widow of the late Irvin M. Adair, died at Aloha, Ore., Thursday at the age of 95 years.
Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Mabel A. Lockwood of Salem, and a grandson, C. Adair Lockwood of Aloha, and a number of nephews and nieces in Oregon and eastern states.
Mrs. Adair was born in Ohio, January 27, 1845, and was the youngest of a family of ten children of Jacob and Christina Hoffman. She was married on September 26, 1868, and came to Oregon in 1873. She was the oldest living member of the First Congregational church at the present time and took an active part in the services in her earlier years.
For 13 years she was nurse at the Chemawa Indian school. Her life was dedicated to the service of others and in her character were combined those qualities which are most admirable in woman. For many years she had been affiliated with Salem Rebekah lodge No. 1, Sedgewick Woman's Relief corps No. 1, and Chadwick chapter No. 37, Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be held at the W. T. Rigdon funeral parlors tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Robert A. Hutchinson officiating, followed by Rebekah services. Interment at IOOF cemetery.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the W. T. Rigdon company Saturday, November 16, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Robert A. Hutchinson will officiate. Concluding services IOOF cemetery.
