Emma Weaver Burnett died in her home at 3552 NE U.S. Grant Place Thursday at the age of 97. 
Mrs. Burnett was born in Round Prairie, Minn., June 8, 1887 [should be 1877]. She moved to Oregon in 1930 and lived in Salem 40 years before moving to Portland. She is survived by a son, Claire E. Weaver, of Salem; three daughters, Gladys Montgomery of Glendale, Calif., Pauling Martin of Spokane, Wash., Alyce Bickell of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a sister, Clare Rosner of North Hollywood, Calif.; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
