OBITUARY: 

Mrs. Mathel Kleen, 67, of 631 Chemawa Rd. NE, Marion County resident all of her life, died Wednesday in a local nursing home following an illness of several years. Born at Hubbard, Mrs. Kleen came to Salem at an early age. She and her husband, Theodore, farmed in the Pratum district east of Salem for many years. Mrs. Kleen was a member of the Pratum Methodist Church. Surviving are the widower and four sons, Raymond, Delbert and Roland, all of Salem, and Lyle of Compton, California; and four grandchildren. Funeral arrangements wil be announced later by the Virgil Golden Mortuary.

Services will be Saturday, Oct. 21st, at 3:30 p.m. in Virgil T. Golden Chapel. Interment at Pioneer Cemetery.
