OBITUARY: 
Lelma [Velma] B. Legge. 
Lifetime Oregon resident Lelma [Velma] Baker Legge died Aug. 5 in a Portland hospital. She was 87. At the family's request, no funeral will be held. The body will be cremated. 
Mrs. Legge was born Sept. 27, 1897, in Wasco. She graduated from Willamette University in Salem in 1920. A resident of the Portland area for more than 50 years, Mrs. Legge taught math and was a counselor at Washington High School in Portland before retiring in 1962. Mrs. Legge was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Portland. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; and a niece, Diane Proctor Stearns of Portland.
