Jan 1884 in Oregon, and Janet, age 14, b. Apr 1886 in Oregon.  Also enumerated with the family is a servant, Essie [last name not given], age 20, b. Oct 1879 in Nebraska. 
1930 WA CENSUS - William T. Gray, age 71, married at age 26, b. Iowa, is enumerated with his wife Ella C., age 73, married at age 25, b. Oregon.  They are enumerated as boarders in the home of Hans Smith and family.

OBITUARY: 

William T. Gray, Oregon Pioneer, Dies in Seattle
Funeral services for William Thomas Gray, 78 years old, who died Sunday at his home, 2316 30th Ave. S., were set for this afternoon in the Home Undertaking Parlors with cremation following.
Born in Lansing, Ia., Mr. Gray went to Salem, Or., with his parents when 10 years old by way of the Isthmus of Panama Railway. Until 1903, when he moved to Seatlle he was in business in Salem. Here he was president of Gray Brothers Comopany until his retirement in 1930.
Mr. Gray was a charter member of Nile Temple and a Mason for fifty-five years. He received his fifty-year gold pin from the Oregon grand lodge in 1931. He was a member of Pacific Lodge, F. and A. M.;  Multnomah Knights Templar and Royal Arch Masons, all of Salem. At the time of his death he was the oldes living graduate of Santa Clara College, Calif., having been a member of the class of 1875.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella Chadwick Gray; three daughters, Mrs. Frederick A. Pease and Mrs. Howard P. Strickler of Seattle and Mrs. Karl Steiwer of Jefferson, Or., and five grandchildren.
