Lawrence, aged 43 years, of heart failure.  The deceased was a resident of Portland before coming to Salem, for medical treatment some time ago. His brother, and brother-in-law, C. J. Benedict, arrived from San Francisco yesterday to attend the funeral, which will be held from Rigdon's undertaking parlors this morning, and will be conducted by Rev. Barr G.
