DISCREPANCY - Not in City Index. Although Rural Cemetery is named as the burial place in his obit, Perry Card is found to have been buried in the City View Cemetery.

REMAINS WERE CREMATED.
Ashes of the Late Perry Card Will Reach Salem This Morning 
The remains of the late Perry Card whose death occurred in Honolulu several weeks ago, were cremated, and the ashes sent to this city. They arrived in San Francisco be steamer on Wednesday, and will reach Salem this morning. Funeral arrangements will be made today and it is likely that the ashes will be interred tomorrow or Sunday. Salem Camp No. 118 Woodmen of the World, will probably have charge of the ceremony at the grave. Levi Card, brother of deceased and Mrs. Card, the widow, arrived in this city yesterday afternoon, and will remain until after the funeral.

Mr. and Mrs. Levi Card and Mrs. Perry Card arrived from Portland yesterday to attend the funeral of the late G. Perry Card, who died at Honolulu and whose remains will arrive this morning.

FUNERAL NOTICE WOODMEN 
All Woodmen of the World are requested to meet at their hall at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, August 3d, to attend the funeral of the late G. Perry Card. Funeral from the residence of J. M. Brown, South Commercial street, Salem. George Chapin, C. C. P. L. Frazier, Clerk Pro-Tem.

The funeral of the late G. Perry Card will be held from the residence of J. M. Brown, on South Commercial street, in this city, tomorrow, Sunday at 9 a.m. There will be a service at the house and Salem Camp. No. 118 Woodmen of the World will have charge of the services at the grave. The ashes in an urn, as received from Honolulu, where the remains were cremated, will be placed in a casket. Burial will be had in the Rural cemetery.
