SALEM - Richard W. Miller passed away Monday. 
He was born, raised and schooled in the Salem area. He joined the armed services in July 1945 and served in post war France where he met and married his wife, Germaine. He worked as a wine maker for 30 years. Survivors include his daughters, Michele Jarman and Patricia Baker; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 26 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Fri., Dec. 27 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service in Salem.
