BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE- Cassius Raymond Bentley and Mabel Fay Burdick, who is also buried in lot #527, were 1st cousins. Mabel's mother, Annice (Bentley) Burdick was the younger sister of Davis Bentley, who was the father of Cassius. Davis and Annice Bentley are found enumerated together in the 1870 Iowa Census as the children of Marion and Elizabeth Bentley of Lynn, Warren Co., Iowa. OBITUARY:  In Salem, at 3 p. m. Tuesday, June 16. 1891, of gastric fever, Cassius Raymond Bently, aged 3 years, 1 month and 11 days.
